Over the weekend, the elections for the position of president and other executives for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) took place in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
At the end of the day, Obour retained his position as the President of the Association as he won the election with 88 votes out of 133 total votes casted.
The theme for the 6th Qaudrennial Congress was Developing The Music Industry, The Role Of An Effective Union.
Obuor contested with veteran musician Gyedu Blay Ambolley and sound engineer Appiah Dankwa aka Apietus who had 22 and 18 votes respectively.
